Spring RFSC Show

Hello Parents and Skaters,

Hooray! The time has come. The 2025 Spring Show is here! Our theme will be “Skating on Thin Ice”. Show practice starts February 4th and will continue until the shows on March 28th -30 th . The week of the show- March 24th-30th,

Please plan to be at the rink each day for either practice or a show (Shows are Friday-Sunday). We will provide a schedule listing when each number will practice and it is extremely important for parents to check their emails on a regular basis as all forms of communication will be done via email. If a skater is sick, DO NOT ATTEND SHOW PRACTICE. If a skater misses more than 2 practices per song for a reason other than sickness, the skater will no longer be eligible to skate in that number. If you are participating in the show, please commit to attending all practices. It will be at the coaches and show chairs discretion if the skater will be allowed to continue in the event of illness, this will be on an individual basis. NO Refunds will be issued!

Sportsmanship Award voting will occur during the tech rehearsal on March 26 th . Have your child think about a skater who they feel displays fairness, generous behavior, and respect to other skaters. There is one vote per skater.

Turning in late will cause the show program to not be completed in time and a possibility that your ads will be missed. If you can turn anything in early that would be a great help for the publication team and greatly appreciated.

All skaters will need a pair of black biker shorts to be worn with their show shirts for the opening number. If you do not have a pair, please let Nicole McGeshick or Nikki Cahee know and they can check inventory in the costume room. All skaters will need a pair of Mondor tights (black pants for boys) which can be purchased online or at Goal Line Sports in Wausau. Be sure to order them so they are here BEFORE the show!!!!
