Learn To Play Hockey
The Rhinelander Ice Association is excited to announce our annual Try Hockey Free/Learn to Play Hockey program, which takes place each fall. This initiative was made possible through the generous donation from the Padgett Family, whose commitment to fostering youth sports has allowed us to introduce newcomers to the excitement of hockey. Thanks to their ongoing support, along with contributions from other community members, we have been able to maintain and expand this program, creating opportunities for local children and families to experience the joy of the game.
The Try Hockey Free program is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for children who are interested in exploring hockey for the first time. We offer a complete set of rental equipment for each participant, ensuring that all players have what they need to get started without the burden of significant financial investment. There is absolutely no cost to participate in the Try Hockey for Free program, making it accessible for everyone in our community.
Throughout the program, participants will receive hands-on instruction from knowledgeable coaches, who will guide them through the fundamentals of skating and hockey skills. Our goal is to inspire a love for the game while promoting physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship among young athletes.
We encourage families to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to introduce their children to hockey and to become a part of the Rhinelander Ice Association community. Join us this fall for an unforgettable experience on the ice! If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to seeing you there!
